WOOHOO. I completed Week 5, Day 1! I'm so amazed at myself because I was so discouraged after failing on Week 4 Day 1 that I just KNEW I wouldn't make it through this one. Boy, was I wrong.
It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I worn a knee support this for the first time which I think helped out ALOT. I'm going to start toning my legs more on the off days to try to fix that annoying knee problem...I think it's just weak. Another problem I've noticed is that the bottom of my right foot starts hurting near the end of my workouts. I don't think I have enough support where my arch is so I'm going to go to a store and get some help picking out running shoes.
Anyway, I'm soooooo excited. I can do this! W5D2 is going to be tough and I don't even know if I can do W5D3 but I'm going to try.
The weather is going to be crappy the next few days but as soon as the rain clears up I'm going to run outside. The treadmill is way too boring.
5K here I come!
